What is The Montgomery Home?
The Montgomery Home is a Type B Assisted Living Facility. A Type B facility is for residents who require staff assistance to evacuate in the event of an emergency, who are not capable of following directions in an emergency, and require nighttime attendance.
Our Mission
The Montgomery Home’s mission is to provide a place for elderly individuals to have independent living residential choices in the Palacios community. It will provide a safe and loving long-term environment for seniors to reside with dignity and grace.

Operations at The Montgomery Home
The Montgomery Home is staffed with a full-time Administrator who is experienced in Organizational Management, Marketing, and Communications. She is licensed to administer the facility by Texas Health and Human Services.
Our state-licensed, full-time Person In Charge provides assistance to the Administrator.
Our Registered Nurse provides resident well-checks on a weekly basis, as well as overseeing the Medication Administrator and Dietary Coordinator.
Attendants, some of whom are Certified Nurse Assistants, manage the day-to-day resident care, housekeeping, and meal preparation. The ratio of attendants to residents is four to one and attendants are staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
All residents at Montgomery Home are required to be serviced by a third-party Home Health Care Agency at the choosing of the resident or their family.
A Dignified Place to Call Home
The Montgomery Home understands the hard decisions families make when it comes to placing their loved ones in an assisted living facility. The last thing we want is for our elderly family members to feel discarded and set aside. Residents are free to age in place at Montgomery Home and are welcome to stay as long as the resident and their family feels Montgomery Home is meeting their needs.
